Tristan Hays Watson is a British Film and TV and Game Composer based in Oxford. His scores have premiered at Dorchester Abbey Festival, with experience in scoring to picture ranging from Film through to advertisement. Tristan is currently working on scoring to a short thriller directed by Max Mclennan.

In 2025, Tristan was awarded Runner Up in the Score Live Space Challenge scoring competition, for his original ambient and atmospheric score. He has also had the privilege of working with and learning from composers including John Pickard, Tess Tyler, and Mark Russell.

Building off of his extensive classical musical foundations as a chorister and Christ Church Cathedral and then studies in Music at the University of Bristol Tristan has drawn inspiration from many areas and has extensive software and hardware expertise, enabling a seamless workflow from concept to final mix. Whether writing for orchestra, hybrid scores, or fully electronic soundscapes, he aims to create music that deepens narrative and leaves a lasting emotional impact.
